With the regular rise in the price of fuel, people are looking for more appropriate options to conserve fuel. The microprocessor based products seem to be one step in regularizing the use of fuel. One such product used today is the genset which is found to be very useful by the users. When the electricity is not there, the genset optimization unit helps in optimizing the time that the genset is operational. The basic principle on which this system works is in unmanned shelters where the AC compressor is not required all the time. The AC is kept on only to keep the shelters cool or recharge the battery. This genset saves major energy by merely switching on when it becomes hot inside the shelter or when the battery needs a change. In case the temperature rises above a preset AC ON point (Higher temperature limit) then the Genset is started. The Generator maintains this position till the temperature goes down to AC OFF point (Lower temperature limit).
